What are metaphors and similes?
Metaphors and Similes are closely related, it is smart to
understand the differences. These two are thinking strategies that provide new
ideas for problem-solving by making associations between objects that seem
dissimilar.

A Metaphor is figure of speech that uses one thing
to mean another and makes a comparison. (is)

A Simile compares two different things in order
to create a new meaning. (like, as)
For example:
In week 8, we did some analogies (quick quiz) in the class. Then
there were a lot of interesting questions we needed to find out which third
word is relationship of given 2 words. Furthermore I found that many words I
don’t know and never heard about those words.

indicative of a sudden. Odd notion or unpredictable change.
